Students of the Professional Master of Business Administration program are solidifying a tradition: an annual mixer among PMBA cohorts past and present. The goal is to reconnect all of the school’s cohorts and provide networking opportunities among the graduates as well as among incoming students to the graduate program.

In keeping with what was started by the 13^th cohort last year, the 14^th cohort of the PMBA program hosted the 2^nd Annual PMBA Mixer on Nov. 8, 2018, at the Guam Museum.

“Alumni are an important part of our UOG family,” said Annette T. Santos, dean of the School of Business and Public Administration. “The fellowship and camaraderie are part of what makes Tritons special. We are always exploring new ways to reconnect our Triton family and remind our community that we are your University.”

The now annual event will always be hosted by the current PMBA cohort.

This year’s event brought together approximately 60 people, including University of Guam faculty, alumni, and prospective PMBA students for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship.

Roland Certeza, CEO of GTA Teleguam and alumnus of Cohort 6, was honored and featured as the event’s first keynote speaker. Certeza is the first local Guamanian to be promoted to the highest executive position within GTA. His inspirational speech was voted among attendees as a major highlight of the event.

The PMBA’s Cohort 14 thanks the following sponsors and volunteers who contributed to the event: Allied Business Consultants, Ambros Inc., Bank of Guam, Docomo Pacific, Foremost, GTA Teleguam, Guam Museum, IT&E, RendezVooth, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) UOG Chapter, Triton Investments (UOG), and the School of Business and Public Administration Dean’s Office.
