Students to receive third round of federal pandemic aid in coming week
University of Guam students will be receiving between $400 and $700 of direct federal grant aid in the coming week. The disbursements are part of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) III under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which allocates pandemic-related financial aid to students and higher education institutions.
Students will receive their portion via check in the mail or direct deposit, if they have previously set up direct deposit through the UOG Business Office.
With this latest disbursement, a total of $12.1 million in HEERF funds have been processed for UOG students through 14,616 individual grant awards since the beginning of the pandemic.
