UOG Professor Evelyn R. Flores spoke with Radio New Zealand regarding her newly published book, "Indigenous Literatures from Micronesia," which is a compilation of poetry, short stories, essays, chants, and excerpts of plays from more than 70 Micronesian authors. Associate Professor of CHamoru Evelyn R. Flores of the University of Guam and Emelihter Kihleng, a Pohnpeian poet and curatorial research fellow at the MARKK Museum am Rothenbaum in Hamburg, Germany, will release their newly published book, "Indigenous Literatures from Micronesia," at a launch event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 6 at the CLASS Lecture Hall.

Three University of Guam students have become the first recipients of the Minda Reglos Writing Prize, a writing contest started by UOG alumni and award-winning poet and rapper and Meta Sarmiento.
